QASCorp - History

Quality Asset Strategies Corporation Limited was incorporated under the name QASCorp Ltd. in Edmonton, Alberta in 2002. David Matichuk was the original founding member and was soon joined by Robin Hendry as an equal partner in the business. Since then, QASCorp has been involved in building systems that help our partners and lenders build wealth via real estate. The primary goal is to generate maximum profit from income and appreciation while providing the best possible security for our partners and lenders.

Prior to founding this company in 2002, QASCorp President David Matichuk was a key player in the launch and development of several successful Alberta-based businesses. David has worked with an impressive roster, creating business systems for such clients as CNN, NBC Studios, Motorola, NASA, United Airlines, Liberty Mutual Insurance, Northwest Natural Gas, and the Alberta Motorist Association. After years of solving endless problems for these large organizations David realized that he could apply his problem-solving skills to any industry. This discovery was the seed that was to become QASCorp.

David’s business partner Robin Hendry immigrated to Alberta in 1996 from Scotland. Robin began investing privately in real estate in 1999 and soon acquired several single-family homes, renovating many of them, selling some and managing the others personally. By the time Robin and David met, Robin had already achieved notable success in real estate earning returns of over 100% on many of his investments. Robin has acquired much of his experience in real estate by helping hundreds of Alberta homeowners save their homes from foreclosure.

Today David and Robin are working together to build a successful team who share common goals in real estate and who work toward similar dreams together.
